In ancient times, astrologers and astronomers were one and the same! It would not have mad essence to them to separate these arts. The origin of the word "astrology" is rooted in the Greek language, which means "the wisdom and teaching of the stars: and the word "logy" comes from "logos" which refers to knowledge.
The Western/Tropical astrology has in fact nothing to do with the real star constellation anymore and in truth does not deserve the name Astrology at all.

Wow what an awesome reading! There is so much here I indentify with...its so true how we try and fix things...admittedly too often I find my self caught up in this wanting to make it all better for the world...I struggle with the "activist" aspect of my self who attempts to wake people up though find myself growing increasingly tired of the ignorance and apathy....it's draining and I wonder at times if at the end of the day if it really has any profound effect. I mean after all those who are meant to wake up will right? There is a knowing in my heart that in the end its about raising MY heartmind's frequency...when each one of us is living from our hearts...what a lovely world that will be. :)
