Purple: Crown Chakra, is the color of transformation, the harmonious integration between red and blue, yin and yang. One of the most powerful healing colors. It enhances the ideals of a person and helps him/her to be kind, caring and connected with the Higher Self. Too much violet can result in self-righteousness in a religious/dogmatic sense and loose connection with real life. It can be balanced with yellow.

Green: Heart Chakra, balancing, healing and harmonizing color for all levels as the color in the middle of the color spectrum that we can see. Green is cooling and calming since it contains blue and yellow. It is the color that helps us to move out of stress and and helps to center again, grounding, nourishing and refreshing. Green can never be too much and it can help to reduce fever. I was using a green color lamp when my kids were small and used it successfully.

Yellow: Solar Plexus, it has a stimulating effect and enhances self esteem and intellect. It is helpful if we need to concentrate hard and study a lot. Too much yellow can cause sleeping problems which can be balanced with violet or indigo.

Orange: Sexual Chakra, strengthens self confidence and it a color of warmth, fun and joyfulness. It enhances our creativity and helps to concentrate longer and energizes the body. Orange is the color for constructiveness, activities and enthusiasms. It can be balanced with blue if we get stressed by too much activities.

Red: Root Chakra: symbol of life energy, courage, strenght and pioneering spirit. It stimulates appetite and excites the emotions. Red is a warm and powerful color and has to be balanced because of it’s intensity that can cause anger, fear and even aggression. Green is the balancing color.
